Learning Objectives
1. Discuss common cardiovascular disorders including high cholesterol, heart failure, and high blood pressure.
2. Identify non-statin therapies used in the treatment of high cholesterol
3. List first-line recommendations for the treatment of heart failure.
4. Review how high blood pressure and heart failure can lead to chronic kidney disease (CKD).
5. Describe new therapies available to help prevent progression to chronic kidney disease.
