FUNdamentals with Pharmacy Math
Learning Objectives

1. Compare numbers to their basic math values (fractions, decimals, Roman numerals, weights, temperatures, making change for patient purchases).
2. List the prescriptions’ days supply.
3. Convert values from one numerical system to another (metric, avoirdupois, apothecary, common household system).
4. Calculate dosage based on various patient and manufacturer parameters (percentage, ratio strength, patient weight, length of therapy).
5. Indicate the quantities needed in sterile and non-sterile compounding (concentrations, drip rates, dilution/concentration).
