Dr. Rudd is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, Department of Medical Education. She teaches medical and advance practice clinician students within the pharmacotherapy curricular components and practices at Neighbors Along the Line and the Indian Health Service. She holds Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy and is credentialed as a Certified Anticoagulation Care Provider. Dr. Rudd previously practiced for almost two decades within Bassett Medical Center’s Anticoagulation Management Service. Her interdisciplinary team provides care for over nearly 1,000 anticoagulated patients, under Collaborative Drug Therapy Management agreements with Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Hematology/Oncology providers. She also is a clinical partner is Hematology and Peri-operative Care Consultations and patient management and has been honored by the US Department of Health and Human Services Life Saving Patent Safety Award for her work in Anticoagulation Safety. Dr. Rudd also serves as a Board Member and President-Elect of the National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers (NCBAP,) sponsors of the Certified Anticoagulation Care Provider (CACP) credential. Dr. Rudd also serves on the Advisory Committee for the Anticoagulation Forum National Centers of Excellence Resource Center. Dr. Rudd also has published in and regularly reviews for several national and international journals.
