Facts about Pharmacy Tech Topics™ 1.
Pharmacy Tech Topics™ is designed to provide CPhTs with four
modules of home study CE. Upon successful completion of each module's
post-test (70% or better), 2.5 hours of PTCB approved CE credit
will be awarded, and a certificate will be made available to you
to view and print in your "My Modules" list of subscribed
modules when you are logged into your account. Modules are released
quarterly in January, April, July and October 2004. Each one-year
CE subscription supplies at least 10 hours of CE credit. (The 2004
Modules will equal 11 hours of PTCB approved contact hours and are
ACPE accredited.)
2. Each Pharmacy Tech Topics™ one-year CE
subscription will provide at least one hour of pharmacy law approved
CE credit. Therefore, a two-year subscription fulfills all of the
recertification requirements for the Pharmacy Technician Certification
Board (PTCB). Subscribers have up to two years from the date of
publication to complete each module for CE credit. Each module will
contain approximately 28 pages of written continuing education with
learning objectives and references, a post-test, and a program evaluation.
3. Pharmacy Tech Topics™ is designed for
CPhTs who have difficulty obtaining the necessary CE credits, or
for those who prefer the convenience of studying at home. Institutions
with more than one technician must purchase a separate CE subscription
for each technician. Pharmacy Tech Topics™ modules are copyright
protected and cannot be reproduced in any form.
4. Pharmacy Tech Topics™ modules, authored
by leading pharmacy experts in their field, will address the latest
disease management and operational issues.
5. When ordering current year modules you will
receive all previously published 2008 modules, with
the remainder being available on a quarterly basis.
6. When you order module years in advance, the
modules will appear as they become available. Your subscription
term for the years you have purchased is viewable under "My
Account" when logged into your account.
